DriTac SMC is an innovative new sound and moisture control wood flooring adhesive that also bridges cracks that can be up to the industry standard of 1/8" (3 mm). DriTac SMC is a one-component system that offers major time and labor savings for the installation of hardwood flooring when concrete moisture control, or sound control system is required. Installers can now accomplish in one day what it normally takes two or more days to complete, saving the installer both time and money! 

DriTac SMC is warranted for up to 12 lbs/1,000 ft2/24 hrs, per the ASTM 1869 Calcium Chloride Method Test. DriTac SMC allows for up to 85% Relative Humidity (RH), per the ASTM 2179 Relative Humidity Test. 

DriTac SMC is also a sound control membrane and offers a FIIC sound rating of 64, a IIC rating of 71 and a STC sound rating of 66. 

DriTac SMC is VOC compliant and contributes to LEED point credits. It is low in odor and easy to clean when wet. This ground-breaking new product is designed for the installation of multi-ply engineered plank, exotic multi-ply engineered plank, acrylic impregnated multi-ply engineered plank, acrylic impregnated plain-back parquet and plain-back parquet.
