Premium “Green” Concrete Moisture Control System
DriTac MCS 7000 Premium ‘‘Green’’ Concrete Moisture Control System reduces the transmission rate of moisture vapor within any concrete subfloor to levels accepted by most flooring manufacturers. The New and Improved MCS 7000 system consists of a two component epoxy, which is mixed together to form a coating that is applied to the surface of the concrete subfloor.
Application Information
Measure and mark out area to be covered. Do not apply DriTac 7000 Concrete Moisture Control System when the temperature is below 65*F. Do not apply DriTac 7000 if temperatures exceed 100*F as this will result in the product curing too quickly and possibly not bonding to the concrete. Apply DriTac 7000 with a 3/8” nap roller, squeegee or a 1/16” x 1/16” x 1/16” notched trowel, immediately after mixing. Maximum recommended coverage is 300-350 sq. ft per mixed unit. Avoid excess pressure on the roller so that an adequate amount of material will be distributed onto the concrete. To even out coverage, back rolling is recommended. Do not extend the coverage, as this will void the warranty.
